Bomb threat closes Palma Hall

Students and the college staff evacuated Palma Hall July 27 due to a bomb threat at the Office of the College Secretary.

The Quezon City Police Bomb Squad found native abaca bags inside the three gift bags suspected to contain bombs. The bags were left at the said office.

Andres Grampa, a Care Best janitor, discovered a garbage bag containing the gift bags around 9 A.M. Grampa and the security guards panicked at what looked like electric wires peeking out from the bags, thinking bombs were inside them.

The gifts were for Mrs. Cleotilde Abad, Student Record Evaluator and Prof. Josefina Andrea Ramilo-Cantiller, College Secretary. ▪
