The CSSP Academic Circle (Acad Circle) celebrates its 12th year with the theme “Loving Dalawa: Pagkat Tayo at ang Kolehiyo ay Iisa” with a set of activities for February.
In the “Brain Teaser” quiz bee that opened the celebration on February 6 at PH 400, Linguistics and History representatives bagged the first place.
The KAPPihan forum hosted by the organization talked about love in the lens of the social science disciplines on February 13 at PH 108-110.
The Acad Circle also launched an exhibit on its 12 years of existence on February 16 at the second floor lobby of Palma Hall.
An academic paper writing seminar was held on February 20 at PH 207 while afree film showing about love will be held
on February 27.
The Academic Circle is an arm of the CSSP Student Council extending to the whole college that promotes academic development of its members and their respective organizations, while increasing their social awareness to pursue progressive action.
The Acad Circle is composed of nine CSSP organizations namely UP Lipunang Pangkasaysayan, UP Bukluran ng Sikolohiyang Pilipino, UP Kalipunan para sa Agham Panlipunan at Pilosopiyang Pilipino, UP Association of Political Science Majors, UP Kabataang Pilosopo Tasyo, UP Psychology Society, UP Political Society, UP Kalipunan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Sosyolohiya, and Geographic Society of UP. ▪
