CSSP commemorates silver jubilee

The College of Social Science and Philosophy hailed its 25th year with a weeklong celebration themed “Diverse, Intense, Supreme” on February 9-13.

An exhibit commemorating the anniversary opened the CSSP Week at the first floor lobby of Palma Hall to promote its activities and endeavors for the week.

The Social Sciences & Philosophy Summit, aimed to introduce and uphold the social sciences and philosophy as tools for social transformation, was held for students from Metro Manila high schools, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila on February 9 and 10 respectively.

The Alternative Classroom Education Program, conducted on February 12,used the lens of the social science disciplines in analyzing the impact of structural and cultural change.

The awarding of excellent faculty and students in KagalingangKAPP and SaliksiKAPP culminated the weeklong celebration. ▪
